I will be presenting 2 sessions:
What’s new in Microsoft Business Intelligence in 2016
There are a number of significant changes to the BI workload in SharePoint 2016. Excel Services has been deprecated, and SQL Server Reporting Services has been significantly enhanced. Power BI is a big factor, but where does it fit? What do all of these changes mean for your new and existing BI investments?
This session will walk through the various changes, and call out the good the bad, and the ugly of these changes. It will highlight what can still be done, what has been enhanced, and what is no longer possible. Finally, it will provide a BI migration strategy for any existing investments.
OneDrive, TwoDrive, White Drive, Blue Drive
OneDrive is the personal cloud storage system from Microsoft. OneDrive is the corporate cloud storage system from Microsoft. OneDrive is the offline file solution for SharePoint. All of these statements are true, so how does it all work? OneDrive for business has undergone significant changes over the last year, and some of these changes have introduced significant confusion.
This session will walk through how One Drive has evolved over the years, and where it is at today. We’ll walk through all of the current configurations for OneDrive, setting up a client and discuss optimal ways of working with it, and provide a few tips and tricks. Finally, we’ll get out the crystal ball and attempt to make a few educated guesses on what’s coming down the road.
